چکیده
Lymphoscintigraphy with combined qualitative and quantitative analysis is reported to be a more sensitive approach diagnose lymphedema in comparison the conventional clinical analysis. Our study seeks evaluate diagnostic performance of lower limb lymphoscintigraphy amalgamation by measuring ilio-inguinal nodal uptake. This prospective observational was comprised 86 patients (172 limbs) diagnosed lymphedema. After thorough grading edema, radionuclide performed as per dedicated institutional protocol. Ilio-inguinal quantification tracer uptake computed along visual scans. Additionally, corresponding mean percentage for each grade assessed cut off differentiate between normal abnormal limbs defined. Although provides objective criteria lymphedema, it can only act an adjunct method without replacing it. Finally, standardization procedure needed including potential combining both rate clearance from injection site quantification.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the validity of quantitative lymphoscintigraphy as a useful lymphedema assessment tool for patients with breast cancer surgery including axillary lymph node dissection (ALND). METHODS We recruited 72 patients with lymphedema after breast cancer surgery that included ALND. Circumferences in their upper limbs were measured in five areas: 15 cm proximal to the lateral epico...

Lymphedema-edema that results from chronic lymphatic insufficiency-is a chronic debilitating disease that is frequently misdiagnosed, treated too late, or not treated at all. There are, however, effective therapies for lymphedema that can be implemented, particularly after the disorder is properly diagnosed and characterized with lymphoscintigraphy. On the basis of the lymphoscintigraphic image...

The characteristics of lymphedema on radionuclide lymphoscintigraphy were studied, and the diagnostic value of radionuclide lymphoscintigraphy in lymphedema was evaluated. In this report radionuclide lymphoscintigraphy was performed in 110 cases of clinically suspected lymphedema. A retrospective study method was used to analyze the imaging results. The typical pattern of lymphedema on radionuc...
